Eric Davis: Panamanian Defender with International Promise
Early Career and Club SuccessEric Davis began his football journey with Arabe Unido in Panama, making his senior debut in 2008. In 2010, he played a pivotal role in the club's championship victory. Seeking new challenges, Davis ventured to Uruguay in 2011, joining Fénix. He made his Uruguayan Primera debut against Cerrito in May 2012. After a loan spell back at Arabe Unido in 2013, Davis moved to Sporting San Miguelito, where he scored his first top-flight goal in September 2013.
European Adventure and Goal-Scoring Prowess
In 2015, Davis embarked on a new chapter in Europe, signing with Slovakian club DAC 1904. He made his Slovak Super Liga debut in September 2015 and netted his first goal for the club in March 2017 against Žilina.
International Career and Accolades
Davis made his international debut for Panama against Venezuela in 2010. He represented his country at the U-20 CONCACAF Championship and FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2011. His senior international career included three appearances at the CONCACAF Gold Cup, where he claimed bronze medals in 2011 and 2015.
