Early Career in France and Portugal

Tiago Targino began his footballing journey in France with Olympique Marseille's reserve team, where he made a single appearance for the senior side. He subsequently moved to Portugal, notably joining Alverca, where he scored 14 goals in his first season. However, an injury sidelined him and cost him his place in the starting lineup.

Stint in Russia and Return to Portugal

In 2000, Targino signed for Lokomotiv Moscow, but only managed to feature in six matches within a year. He returned to Portugal and played for several local clubs before venturing to France, India, Spain, and Cyprus.

Targino's later career saw him don the colors of various clubs across different countries. His final stop was at Spanish side Cerro Reyes.

Targino grew up in a humble family with a father who worked as a laborer and a mother who was a homemaker. He had three sisters.
