Born in Paris on January 29, 1990, François Civil is an Aquarius. His parents, Françoise Moulin Civil and Pierre Civil, are both professors. François began acting in school theater to impress a girl, but soon developed a passion for the art. He continued his studies at Le Magasin theater studio.
Film Career
In 2005, Civil made his film debut in the comedy "Cactus." Two years later, he landed his first lead role in the drama "Soit Je meurs, soit je vais mieux." In 2014, he starred in the horror-thriller "As Above, So Below," where he played a daredevil explorer navigating the Paris catacombs.
Civil's filmography expanded in 2017 with "Return to Burgundy," where he portrayed a brother facing family challenges. In 2019, he appeared in the romantic drama "A Faithful Man," showcasing his range with a depressive character.
