Frank Lautenberg: A Political Pioneer

Frank Lautenberg was an American politician who served as a United States Senator for the state of New Jersey. A member of the Democratic Party, he held the distinction of being the oldest-ever U.S. senator upon his death and the second-oldest congressman after Rep. Ralph Hall (born 1923), as well as being the last senator to have served in World War II.
