Early CareerFrank Mauer, a German ice hockey player, began his professional journey with the Adler Mannheim youth club in 2003. As a rising talent, he made a significant impact during his tenure from 2003 to 2006. In the 2005/06 season, Mauer emerged as the league's leading scorer, amassing an impressive 78 points. His exceptional performance led to three consecutive championship titles with his team.
Professional Breakthrough
In 2008, Mauer transitioned to the Heilbronn Falken, a professional club in the second German league. His exceptional skills and leadership qualities made him an integral part of the team. This earned him attention from several elite German Ice Hockey League (DEL) clubs.
Adler Mannheim Era
Mauer's brilliance caught the eye of his former youth club, Adler Mannheim. In 2008, he signed a multi-year contract with the team. On February 26, 2008, Mauer made his professional debut with Adler Mannheim in a victory over Grizzlys Wolfsburg.
