Early Life and Career

Fredrik Lindberg was born in Bro, Sweden. He began his curling career in 2006, playing at the third and second positions in Sebastian Kraupp's team. In 2009, Lindberg and Kraupp joined Niklas Edin's team, where Lindberg played as the second curler. Lindberg's first major tournament was the 2009 European Championship held in Aberdeen. The team had to face tough opponents, including bronze medalists from the World Championship, Thomas Ulsrud and his team. Despite the strong competition, Lindberg and his team showed impressive results. They only lost two games in the round-robin stage and won both games in the playoffs, defeating the Swiss team to claim the gold medal.
