Miss Universe 2013

The final ceremony of the Miss Universe 2013 pageant was held on November 9 in Moscow, at 'Crocus City Hall'. Sixteen girls participated in the final after the selection process. Unfortunately, the representative of Russia, Elmira Abdrazakova, did not make it to the final. However, Russian celebrities and TV personalities such as Ksenia Sobchak, Andrey Malakhov, and the famous singer Philipp Kirkorov were among the organizers of the competition. One of the judges was also the iconic leader of the rock band 'Aerosmith,' Steven Tyler.

Victory and Responsibilities

After Olivia Culpo, the previous beauty queen, passed on her crown to Gabriela, the newly crowned Miss Universe expressed her shock and happiness. She couldn't believe that the victory was hers. It should be noted that before the announcement of the results, Ksenia Sobchak and Andrey Malakhov predicted that the winner would be the representative of the Philippines. They even speculated that the devastating typhoon that had recently hit the Philippines could have given the contestant additional points. However, fate and the jury were favorable to the beautiful representative from Venezuela.

During the pageant, Gabriela was asked about her greatest fear and how she tries to overcome it by Steve Tyler. Although she did not provide a specific answer, she stated that she believes any fear can be conquered if one is a strong person.

As the new Miss Universe, Gabriela Isler received a crown worth $120,000 (which she almost dropped), a contract, and various gifts and prizes. She will now fulfill the traditional obligations of the world's most beautiful woman, including charitable and social activities, throughout the next year.
