Early Career

Tal Ben Haim, an Israeli footballer, began his professional career with his hometown club, Maccabi Petah Tikva. In 2000, he signed a contract with the club's senior team, where he spent five seasons, making 85 appearances and scoring 11 goals.

European Stint

In 2005, Ben Haim moved to UD Tenerife in Spain. However, his career there was short-lived, and in the winter transfer window, he was sold back to Israel, joining Beitar Jerusalem. At Beitar, Ben Haim became a regular starter and received regular call-ups to the national team. In the 2007/08 season, he was crowned Israel's Player of the Year.

Borussia Mönchengladbach

Ben Haim signed a four-year contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2008. He made his Bundesliga debut against Stuttgart but struggled for regular playing time. After failing to make an appearance in the 2009/10 season, Ben Haim left Borussia Mönchengladbach and rejoined Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2010.
