George Traykov

Briton who won the lottery twice
Country: Great Britain

Biography of George Traykov

George Traykov, a British man, has won the lottery for the second time in a row. He seems to be indifferent to his victories, as he only bothered to collect his second winning check two months after his win. Many of us dream of winning a million or two in the lottery. However, for many lucky winners, the sudden wealth has had negative consequences, with the money slipping away through their fingers.

George Traykov, on the other hand, remains unfazed by his victories. The 45-year-old builder won his first prize in September 2011, when he won a million pounds in the 'Millionaire Raffle' lottery. His second victory came more recently, this time in the 'EuroMillions' contest, where he won a less impressive but still quite pleasant £160,873. He was just one number away from winning the £12 million jackpot.

Traykov's ability to remain calm in the face of such fortunes can be attributed to his unusual experience. He was once a member of a Bulgarian skydiving team. According to Traykov, no lottery can compare to the thrill of a single jump.

Although his first win did have some impact on Traykov's life, it did not drastically change his lifestyle. He was able to send his daughter Elaine to a private school and pay for her skydiving lessons. However, money has always been a means for Traykov to achieve his goals, rather than something he indulges in. He doesn't drink, smoke, or indulge in other excesses. Therefore, the million he won had nowhere to go. This explains why he paid almost no attention to his second, much smaller, prize.

As for what Traykov will do with his sudden wealth, even he is unsure at the moment. He has no plans to change his home, where he has lived for almost 20 years and sees no reason to move anywhere else. Some of the money will go to his daughter. As of now, Traykov does not have a wife, although photographers recently captured him in the company of an unknown young brunette.

Overall, Traykov's story seems to be a whimsy of Lady Luck. How else can one explain the fact that a huge prize goes to a person who doesn't really need it?
