Early Life and Club CareerGermano was a Brazilian footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He spent his entire club career at Botafogo, a renowned Brazilian club. He joined the team in 1928 and remained there until 1935.
International Career
Germano also represented Brazil at the international level. He played in three friendly matches for the national team. In 1934, he was selected to represent Brazil at the FIFA World Cup in Italy.
1934 FIFA World Cup
Germano was one of nine players from Botafogo who were part of the Brazilian squad for the 1934 FIFA World Cup. However, like at his club, he did not make any appearances in the tournament. The starting goalkeeper for Brazil was his Botafogo teammate Pedroza.
