Early Life and Career

Gökhan Inler is a Swiss-born Turkish professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Beşiktaş and the Swiss national team. He began his career at FC Basel's youth academy but failed to make a significant impact.

Breakthrough with Aarau and Zürich

In 2004, Inler received an offer from Fenerbahçe and signed a preliminary contract, but the deal fell through. He subsequently joined Aarau, where he impressed with his performances. The following year, he moved to FC Zürich and helped the team win the Swiss Super League championship.

Transfer to Udinese and International Debut

In 2007, Inler joined Serie A club Udinese. Around the same time, he made his debut for the Swiss national team on September 2, 2006, in a match against Venezuela.
