He continued his stellar form in the domestic league, scoring a hat-trick in the opening match of the season against León. His impressive campaign culminated in the CONCACAF Champions League title and the tournament's Golden Boot award.

In the summer of 2017, Lozano left Pachuca for Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven, signing a six-year contract. He made his Eredivisie debut against AZ and scored his first goal for PSV in the same match. In his first season with PSV, he helped the team win the Dutch league title.
