Biography of Irina Baraksanova
Irina Baraksanova is a gymnast and an International Class Master of Sports. She was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and represented the Armed Forces team during her career.
Achievements
In 1985, Irina Baraksanova became the World Champion in the team competition. She also won the Soviet Union Championship in balance beam exercises in 1985 and in floor exercises in 1984. Additionally, she won silver medals in the all-around competition in the Soviet Union Cup in 1985 and in vault exercises in 1984. She also won a bronze medal in the all-around competition in 1984, as well as in parallel bars exercises in 1985 and balance beam exercises in 1984.
