Political Career

Vereshchuk's political journey began in 2015, when she ran as a candidate for the Vinnytsia City Council on behalf of Vladimir Groysman's "Vinnytsia European Strategy" party. Her electoral bid proved unsuccessful.

In 2019, Vereshchuk contested the early parliamentary elections as a member of the "Servant of the People" party. She ran in electoral district No. 14 (Zhmirenka city, Barskyi district, Zhmirenskyi district, Lytynskyi district, Tyvrivskyi district) in Vinnytsia Oblast. Vereshchuk emerged victorious, securing 30.09% of the votes cast.

Following her election, Vereshchuk became a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (Supreme Council), serving as a deputy for the "Servant of the People" party. Her husband, Serhiy Borzov, holds the position of Head of the State Administration of Affairs (SAA).

Sanctions

On December 7, 2020, the Russian government placed Vereshchuk on its sanctions list, targeting individuals deemed a threat to Russia's interests. This move by the Russian government has sparked international criticism and condemnation.
