Early Life and Training
Ivan Kozoriz, a Ukrainian footballer, began his football journey in Kyiv. Under the guidance of renowned coach Andrey Leonidovich Brovarnik, Kozoriz honed his skills. Brovarnik mentored Kozoriz from ages 9 to 16, alongside other talented players such as Ruslan Yarosh, Sergey Kozyr, Alexander Babak, Vladislav Ostroushko, Vladislav Savchuk, and Alexander Alekseenko. Notably, several of these players went on to excel in mini-football and beach football.
Professional Club Career
After graduating high school, Kozoriz joined "Obolon-PVO." Later, he moved to "Borysfen" at the invitation of Sergey Morozov. A brief stint in Poland followed, after which Kozoriz returned to Ukraine to play for "Sistema-Boreks." Kozoriz's career trajectory continued with a transfer to "Tavriya" in Simferopol. However, after failing to secure regular playing time, he was loaned to "Zakarpatia" and eventually purchased by the club.
In the 2007/08 season, "Zakarpatia" was relegated from the Ukrainian Premier League. Kozoriz trialled with "Lviv" and was close to joining "Metalist." However, he ultimately signed a contract with "Kharkiv." The following season, "Kharkiv" was relegated to the Ukrainian First League. Kozoriz returned to "Zakarpatia" after that disappointing campaign.
Further Club Transfers
In February 2010, Kozoriz joined "Illichivets" Mariupol on a one-year contract. After its expiration, he left the club. Subsequent clubs he played for included FC "Prykarpattia," FC "Neftyanik-Ukrneft," and "Poltava." His contract with "Poltava" was not renewed after the 2012/13 season.
