Ivan Ordets: Ukrainian Football Defender
Ivan Ordets is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a defender for both the Ukrainian national team and Moscow's Dynamo FC.
Early Career at Shakhtar Donetsk
Ordets began his football journey at a young age. He joined Shakhtar Donetsk on September 2, 2002, where he spent several years developing his skills in the club's youth academy. Ordets made a significant contribution to Shakhtar's youth teams, participating in numerous matches and scoring several goals.
Loan Spells and Return to Shakhtar
In 2011, Ordets joined Illichivets Mariupol on loan, but his stint there was cut short. He later returned to Shakhtar and, in 2013, established himself as a crucial member of the main squad. He made his Premier League debut for Illichivets on March 2, 2013, and scored his first goal on April 12, 2013.
Success at Shakhtar and Dynamo Moscow
After impressing at Illichivets, Ordets rejoined Shakhtar in 2014, where he spent several seasons. During his time there, he helped the team win two Ukrainian Premier League titles and three Ukrainian Cup titles. In 2019, Ordets signed for Dynamo Moscow, where he continues to play.
International Career
Ordets has represented Ukraine at various youth levels since 2009. He made his senior international debut for the national team in 2014 and has become a regular member of the squad. In 2016, he was part of Ukraine's reserve squad at the European Championship.
