Education and Entrepreneurial Journey
Serhiy Shynkarenko pursued his higher education at the prestigious Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, graduating with a solid academic foundation. Upon completing his studies, he embarked on a successful entrepreneurial journey.
Shynkarenko co-founded the renowned "Dustistaya Pech" LLC and served as its director. He also played a pivotal role as a co-founder and director of "Flower Service" LLC. Additionally, he held a position at the esteemed Institute of Renewable Energy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, further honing his technical expertise.
Political Career
Shynkarenko's entrepreneurial accomplishments paved the way for his entry into the political arena. In the parliamentary elections of 2019, he ran as a candidate for the "Servant of the People" party, securing the 121st position on the party list. At the time of his election, Shynkarenko resided in Odessa and remained nonpartisan.
As a member of the Verkhovna Rada, Shynkarenko holds a prominent position on the Committee on Anti-Corruption Policy and chairs the Subcommittee on International Partnership and Cooperation for Implementing Anti-Corruption Policy in the Financial, Agro-Industrial, and Energy Sectors. His commitment to transparency and accountability is evident in his active participation in the Ukrainian Parliamentary Association Committee.
Legislative Contributions
Shynkarenko has been a driving force behind several legislative initiatives, including Bill No. 3944 "On Amendments to Article 51 of the Merchant Shipping Code of Ukraine Regarding the Qualification Requirements for Crew Members." This bill aims to enhance the standards and professionalism of maritime personnel.
Additionally, Shynkarenko's support for Resolution No. 0901-P "On the Cancellation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Decision of January 16, 2020, on the Adoption in the Second Reading and as a Whole as the Law of Ukraine of the Draft Law of Ukraine 'On Complete General Secondary Education'" reflects his dedication to educational equality.
