Annexation of Nice- In September 1792, Nice was occupied by French revolutionary troops, leading to the establishment of a temporary administration.

- Blanqui was sent to Paris as part of a delegation to negotiate the unification.
- On January 31, 1793, the National Convention officially approved Nice's incorporation into France as the department of Alpes-Maritimes.
