Jensen Ross Ackles, an American actor, was born in 1978 in Dallas, Texas, to a family involved in the acting industry. His parents, Alan Roger Ackles and Donna Joan Sheffer, chose the unique name Jensen for their son. From a young age, Jensen was actively involved in advertisements for children's products, as his parents seized every opportunity to showcase their little one in front of the camera.
Early Life and Career
After completing his education at Dartmouth School in Richardson, Texas, Jensen faced a crucial decision. He had the option to attend Texas University and pursue his childhood dream of becoming a physical therapist, or embark on a career as an actor. However, Jensen's stunning looks, which met Hollywood standards, made it impossible to ignore his potential in the entertainment industry. Thus, he chose to prioritize art over medicine and moved to Hollywood.
Jensen's acting debut came with small roles in various television series. In 1997, he landed the role of Eric Brady in the NBC series "Days of Our Lives."
