Early Life and Education
Ho was born and raised in Minnesota. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Bryn Mawr College in 1987.
Hearth Connection and USICH
From 1999 to 2010, Ho served as Executive Director of Hearth Connection, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending homelessness in Minnesota. Subsequently, she joined the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) as Deputy Director from 2010 to 2013. At USICH, she oversaw the creation of "Opening Doors," the nation's first federal plan to eradicate homelessness.
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
