Jessica Michelle Kahawaty was born on September 12, 1988, in Sydney, New South Wales. She is an Australian model of Lebanese origin. In 2007, at the age of seventeen, Kahawaty participated in a beauty pageant in Sydney. She was crowned Miss Lebanon-Australia and became the first Australian of Lebanese descent to win the Miss Lebanon title in 2008. The extravagant event took place at the 'Batroun Village Club' in Lebanon on August 14, 2008, with 31 Lebanese beauties from around the world participating.

Kahawaty represented Lebanon at the Miss International 2008 beauty pageant held in Macau on November 8, 2008. She made it to the semi-finals, becoming one of the top twelve contestants. In 2010, she competed in Miss Lebanon, which took place at the LBC studio. Despite receiving high scores from nine independent jury members, Kahawaty finished as the third runner-up.
