Early Career

Born in Sweden, Johan Larsson began his footballing journey with the youth academy of Elfsborg. On March 15, 2010, he made his professional debut in the Allsvenskan league against Gefle. Two weeks later, he scored his first goals for Elfsborg in a match against Halmstad.

Domestic Success with Elfsborg

Larsson quickly established himself as a formidable defender for Elfsborg. In 2012, he helped the club win the Swedish championship. Two years later, he played a pivotal role in Elfsborg's victory in the Swedish Cup. In 2014, he was awarded the title of "Defender of the Year" in the Super League.

Transfer to Brøndby

In early 2015, Larsson transferred to the Danish club Brøndby. He made his debut in the Danish Superliga on February 22 against Aalborg. On March 15, he scored his first goal for Brøndby in a match against Odense.
