Jordan Dunn is a popular British model who has achieved significant success in the controversial fashion industry at a young age. Early Life and Career
Jordan Dunn was born on August 3, 1990, in London. She stumbled into the modeling business by chance, a common occurrence among popular models. In 2006, while out for a walk with a friend at the retail chain "Primark," she was noticed by an agent from the modeling agency "Storm Management." This led to an invitation to a casting, and in the same year, she signed a professional contract with the agency.
In 2007, Jordan made her debut in a major fashion show at New York Fashion Week, showcasing clothing from the collections of brands like "Marc Jacobs" and "Polo Ralph Lauren." She also graced the cover of the British edition of "Vogue" that year, solidifying her status as a new British modeling star. Jordan recalls, "Most models dream of being on the cover of 'Vogue,' especially if it's the edition from your own country. When I found out about the invitation, I was overwhelmed with positive emotions."
Success and Recognition
Jordan is not only loved by renowned glossy magazines but also by famous fashion houses. She has participated in shows for "Gap," "Topshop," "Benetton," "H&M," "Saks Fifth Avenue," "Givenchy," "Pucci," and "Jean Paul Gaultier." In late 2008, she appeared on the covers of "i-D," "Pop," "Sunday Times Style," "Elle France," and the American "Vogue," which is considered the pinnacle of a modeling career.
In August, Jordan took part in a photoshoot for the special Italian edition of "Vogue All Black," dedicated entirely to black models. She posed alongside models such as Chanel Iman, Naomi Campbell, and Tyra Banks. "It was a very exciting day, seeing all these great models under one roof," recalls Jordan Dunn.
In November 2008, Jordan received the "Best Model of the Year" award at the "British Fashion Awards." During the Spring 2009 collection shows, she walked the runway more than 90 times, participating in shows for "Chanel," "Christian Dior," "Givenchy," and "Jean Paul Gaultier."
Jordan is also actively involved in advertising campaigns for renowned brands. She has already been the face of "Benetton," and in early 2009, she was considered a candidate for the fragrance campaign "YSL La Nuit de L'Homme Fragrance" alongside actor Vincent Cassel.
