Early Career and Move to Bulgaria
Julio Cesar began his playing career with Ituano before spending five years at CRAC. In 2006, he ventured outside of Brazil and signed for Bulgarian club Belasitsa Petrich.
Turkish Stint and Bulgarian Return
Cesar's European journey continued as he represented Denizlispor, Eskişehirspor, and Kocaelispor in Turkey. He briefly returned to Bulgaria in 2009, playing 10 matches for Montana.
Transfer to Shakhtar Donetsk
In January 2010, Cesar made the move to Shakhtar Donetsk, signing a 2.5-year contract. He made his Ukrainian Premier League debut on March 28, 2010, coming on as a substitute in a 1-0 away victory over Tavriya Simferopol.
Departure from Shakhtar
Cesar's stay at Shakhtar Donetsk was short-lived, as he left the club in the summer of 2010. His departure marked the end of his European adventures and the return to his native Brazil.
