Biography of Karina Kirakosyan
Karina Kirakosyan is an Armenian political and state figure. She graduated from the Faculty of Labor Economics at the Yerevan Institute of National Economy in 1981. She is an economist with a candidate degree in economic sciences.
Early Career
From 1981 to 1984, Kirakosyan worked as a research fellow at the Institute of Economics of the Armenian SSR Academy of Sciences. During this time, she focused on economic research and analysis. From 1984 to 1990, she continued her work at the same institute, this time as an economist.
Government Service
In 1990, Kirakosyan began her career in the government apparatus, where she held various positions over the course of fourteen years. She started as the head of a department and then gradually climbed the ranks to become the deputy chief, then the chief of a department, and finally the deputy head of the apparatus. During this period, she gained extensive experience in government administration and management.
Leadership in State Property Management
In 2004, Kirakosyan was appointed as the head of the State Property Management Department under the Armenian government. She served in this role until 2011, overseeing the management and utilization of state-owned assets. Political Affiliation
