Early Life and CareerBorn in Russia, Maksim Rybin's passion for hockey ignited when he first stepped onto the ice at the tender age of 11. In 2006, his professional journey commenced as he joined HC Neftyanik Leninogorsk of the Russian Supreme Hockey League.
NHL Draft and Junior Hockey
Rybin's talent caught the attention of the NHL, and he was selected with the 67th overall pick in the 2006 draft by the New Jersey Devils. Additionally, he was drafted by the Chicoutimi Saguenéens of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Rybin later moved to the Victoriaville Tigres in 2007.
International Experience
In 2009, Rybin ventured to Europe and signed with HC Slovan Bratislava of the Slovak Extraliga. He played a pivotal role in the team's run to the 2010 Extraliga Finals, where they ultimately fell to HK Košice.
