Early Life and Club Career

Birth and Youth

Milivoje Novaković was born on June 12, 1981, in Trbovlje, Slovenia. He began his football journey at the local club Rudar Trbovlje.

Professional Debut and Rise to Stardom

In 1998, Novaković made his senior debut for Rudar Velence. His impressive performances earned him a move to Croatian giants Hajduk Split in 2002. He became a key player for the club, playing for two seasons.

International Career

National Team Debut

In 2004, Novaković made his international debut for the Slovenian national team. He went on to play 25 matches and score 6 goals for his country.

Club Career Continued

Stints in Croatia, Germany, and Japan

After leaving Hajduk Split, Novaković had stints with Inter Zaprešić and Dinamo Dresden before joining German club Duisburg in 2005. He spent three seasons there, establishing himself as a regular starter.
