Early Life and Career

Krépin Diatta is a Senegalese professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for AS Monaco and the Senegal national team. Born and raised in Senegal, Diatta began his football journey at a local academy in his home country.

Professional Club Career

Sarpsborg 08

Diatta has represented Senegal at various youth levels. In 2017, he played for the Senegal U-20 team at the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations and the FIFA U-20 World Cup.

He made his senior international debut for Senegal in 2019 at the Africa Cup of Nations. In the opening match against Tanzania, he scored a goal and helped his team secure a 2-0 victory.

Diatta was included in Senegal's squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. He played two matches in the tournament as Senegal reached the Round of 16.
