However, Kylie quickly set her sights on international success and headed to New York. She transformed her appearance by dyeing her hair blonde and cutting it short, marking the beginning of her rapid rise in the modeling industry. In a relatively short amount of time, Kylie's talent and determination led her to work in fashion capitals such as Paris, New York, Milan, and London.

She had the opportunity to work with renowned fashion houses including Moschino, Oscar de la Renta, Chanel, Christian Dior, Valentino, Gucci, and Prada, among many others. Kylie appeared in fashion shows, participated in campaigns, and graced the pages of prestigious magazines such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar, and Elle. She also appeared in the comedy "The Big Tease" directed by Kevin Allen.

In 2000, Kylie appeared in three films: "We Married Margo" directed by J.D. Shapiro, "Jill Rips" directed by Anthony Hickox, and "Boys and Girls" directed by Robert Iscove.
