Early Life and Education

Olga Bulah holds a diverse academic background, having graduated from the Kyiv Institute of Cultural and Social Relations with degrees in Psychology and Sociology. She continued her studies at the National Academy of Labor and Social Management, obtaining a diploma from the International Institute of Management in NGO Management Course. Additionally, she earned a degree in Management of Non-Governmental Organizations and Project Management from the Ukrainian Catholic University.

Social Work and Advocacy

Bulah's professional journey revolves around social work and advocacy. As Executive Director of the charitable organization "100% Life. Kyiv Region," she has dedicated herself to supporting individuals with tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, orphans, women experiencing domestic violence, refugees, and veterans of the Anti-Terrorist Operation. Her compassionate activism has extended to the national and international levels, addressing the needs of vulnerable populations.

Political Career

In 2019, Bulah entered the political arena as a candidate for the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament) from the "Servant of the People" party. Elected to the ninth convocation, she serves as a member of the Committee on Health of the Nation, Medical Assistance, and Medical Insurance, chairing the subcommittee on Epidemic Security, Combating HIV/AIDS, and Socially Dangerous Diseases. Bulah is also the secretary of the inter-parliamentary relations group with the Republic of North Macedonia.

Recognition and Sanctions

Bulah's contributions to public service have been acknowledged both domestically and internationally. However, she has also faced challenges, including the inclusion of her name on the Russian government's sanctions list in 2020. Nonetheless, she has remained committed to her advocacy work, demonstrating resilience and determination in the face of adversity.
