Early Life and Education
Born in Azerbaijan, the subject of this biography graduated with a degree in Journalism from Baku State University. Upon completing her studies, she became a member of the Union of Azerbaijani Journalists and gained proficiency in the Russian language.
Career in Journalism and Education
From 1972 to 1977, the individual served as a music teacher in a kindergarten in Khachmaz. Subsequently, she embarked on a career in journalism, initially working as a proofreader for the newspaper "Vyshki" and later as its deputy editor-in-chief. She also contributed to the Turkish-language programs of Azerbaijan Radio.
From 1998 to 2000, she edited the magazine "Your Home." In 2000, she was appointed editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Women's World." Her notable work includes the three-volume encyclopedia "Azerbaijani Women of the 20th Century."
Political Career
On November 6, 2005, she was elected as an independent deputy to the third convocation of Milli Majlis (the Azerbaijani parliament) from the 55th Khachmaz City Electoral District. She became a member of the standing committee on science and education.
Additionally, she joined several working groups for interparliamentary relations, including Azerbaijan-Albania, Azerbaijan-Austria, Azerbaijan-Bulgaria, Azerbaijan-South Africa, Azerbaijan-Spain, Azerbaijan-Israel, Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia, and Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan.
