Early Life and Career
Lautaro Acosta was born in Glew, Buenos Aires, Argentina on March 14, 1988. He began his football career in the youth system of Lanús, making his debut for the first team at the age of 18.
Success with Lanús
Acosta quickly became an important part of the Lanús first team, which often had to sell its top players. He was a key member of the team that won the 2007 Torneo Apertura, Lanús' first ever Argentine league title.
International Career
Youth Teams:Acosta represented Argentina at the youth level, including the 2007 FIFA World Youth Championship, where he helped the team win the title.
Olympic Team:
He was a member of the Argentine team that won the gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
European Adventures
Sevilla:In January 2008, Acosta moved to Spanish club Sevilla. He made over 60 appearances for the club and won the Copa del Rey in 2010.
Return to Argentina
