Childhood and Early Life

Born Lee Min Ho on June 28, 1993, under the zodiac sign of Cancer, Lee Tae Ri hails from Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Growing up in an ordinary family with an older sister, Lee was influenced by his grandmother, who believed in his artistic potential and encouraged him to pursue acting.

At the tender age of five, Lee landed his first role in the medical television show "Soonpoong Clinic." Despite initial hesitation from an acting agency in 1998, Lee demonstrated his talent in the 2001 film "Waikiki Brothers" and the historical dramas "Empress Myeongseong" and "Jang Hui Bin."

Transition to Athletics

As a student at Paikyang High School, Lee shifted his focus to athletics, excelling in soccer. He became captain of his team and was awarded the Top Scorer at the 2008 Seoul Youth Cup with 10 goals. Despite pressure from family to pursue acting, Lee initially resisted, determined to become a professional soccer player.

Return to Acting

In 2008, Lee experienced a surge in popularity and reconsidered his career path. He enrolled in the prestigious ChungAng University to study Theater and Film.
