Early Life and Education
Lev Ivanovich Korchebokovwas born in Tsarskoye Selo, Russia, into an aristocratic family. His family moved to Cherepovets soon after his birth, where he received a privileged education. Korchebokov learned German, studied the cello, and played lawn tennis, adhering to the traditions of the Russian nobility.
Athletic Career
Multisport Athlete:Korchebokov began his athletic endeavors in 1920. He played for the Union youth soccer team in 1921, the Kommunalniki soccer team in 1922, and the Moscow Kommunalniki soccer team in 1923. In 1925, he joined Dinamo Moscow, where he competed in soccer and hockey.
Soccer Success:Korchebokov made his debut for Dinamo's soccer team in 1930. He represented Moscow in soccer in 1934 and made three appearances for the USSR national soccer team in 1935.
Hockey and Tennis Excellence:In 1930, Korchebokov played for the Moscow hockey team in Finland. He also competed for the Moscow tennis team in 1932.
International Recognition
Trips Abroad:Korchebokov exhibited his soccer skills in international matches against Turkey and France. He also played for Dinamo against the Basque Country team.

Dinamo Moscow:He was appointed coach of Dinamo Moscow in 1939 but had limited success. He returned to the helm in 1944, but the team's performance declined, leading to his departure.
Later Coaching Roles:Korchebokov coached Dinamo Minsk in 1941 and Dinamo Kiev in the 1950s. His tenure with Dinamo Minsk was marked by financial challenges and a weak squad.
Personal Life and Legacy
Family:Korchebokov's son, Alexei, also played professional soccer and later became a sea captain.
