A Media Sensation

Levi gained national attention in August 2008 when Sarah Palin, then a candidate for Vice President of the United States, announced that her daughter Bristol was pregnant and Levi was the father. The engagement between Levi and Bristol ended in March 2009, which led to numerous conflicts with the Palin family. However, in July 2010, Levi and Bristol became engaged again, only to break up once more in August of the same year.

A Controversial Relationship

Levi and Bristol welcomed their son, Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, on December 27, 2008. However, their relationship did not last, and they separated in May 2009. Legal battles over custody ensued, with Bristol attempting to gain sole custody of their son. Despite their differences, Levi and Bristol reconciled in July 2010, but their renewed romance was short-lived, and they broke up again just three weeks later.

A Public Figure

Following his break up with Bristol, Levi regularly appeared on national television shows. He was invited, along with his mother and sister, to appear on "The Tyra Banks Show." During the interview, Levi had to refute rumors of drug use, infidelity, and other allegations made against him. Levi also gave interviews to "Early Show," where he partially supported Bristol's advocacy for abstinence among teenagers but argued for a more comprehensive approach to sex education.

Apologies and Regrets

In September 2009, Levi made controversial claims in an interview with "Vanity Fair," stating that Sarah Palin had initially planned to hide Bristol's pregnancy and considered putting the baby up for adoption. Sarah Palin denied these allegations. In July 2010, Levi publicly apologized to Bristol and her family, admitting that most of his earlier statements were driven by his resentment towards the Palins.

Looking to the Future

It was reported that Levi would pose nude for "Playgirl Magazine," a decision that drew criticism from Sarah Palin. Despite his tumultuous relationship with the Palin family and his controversial media appearances, Levi continues to pursue opportunities in entertainment and remains a figure of public interest.
