Liza Yushchenko: A Fashionable Ukrainian

Liza Yushchenko, the daughter-in-law of the former president of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko, has made a name for herself as a well-known fashionista in Kiev. She recently attended the 30th anniversary Ukrainian Fashion Week, where she shared her thoughts on discounts and her love for new slippers.

A Different Fashion Sense

When asked about her fashion preferences, Liza admitted that she does not follow the current trends. She praised the efforts of Ukrainian designer Lilia Litkovska but confessed that her style does not align with her own. She stated that she does not own any outfits from Ukrainian designers because she believes they overprice their products. Liza prefers to invest in branded clothing, not because she loves labels, but because she values the quality and craftsmanship.

A Colorful Summer Wardrobe

As summer approaches, Liza revealed that she recently purchased a pair of fabulous orange slippers, reminiscent of her grandmother's style. Despite their nostalgic charm, the slippers belong to a democratic brand, showing that Liza appreciates both luxury and affordability. She also mentioned her fondness for colorful dresses, not only for herself but also for her young daughter. Liza's husband jokingly remarks that she dresses their daughter like a "cupcake."

Affection for Discounts

Liza openly admitted her love for discounts, explaining that she patiently waits for the right opportunity to purchase items she loves at a more affordable price. She even suggested that traveling to Europe is a better option for finding good deals. When asked about her favorite shopping destination, Liza revealed that due to her young daughter, she has limited her travels and now mostly spends time in Kiev. Being there for her daughter is her top priority.

Fashion Repeats, but Not for Liza

As a prominent figure in certain circles, Liza shared her principle regarding wearing items from previous seasons. If she is photographed wearing a particular outfit at a public event, she will not wear it to a similar occasion again. Although it can be disheartening to wear expensive clothing once, Liza finds ways to "recycle" them in her everyday life or during vacations abroad. She sees no issue with wearing items from different seasons, as long as they are not iconic pieces like the famous Balmain shoulder-padded blazer.
