Lucy Hale is an American actress and singer who first gained popularity as a member of a successful vocal quintet. She is known for her roles as Becca Sommers in the TV series "Bionic Woman," Rose Baker in "Privileged," Sherrie in the horror film "Scream 4," and Aria Montgomery in the series "Pretty Little Liars."

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Lucy Hale made her first television appearance in 2003 on the reality show "American Juniors." After her stint on "American Juniors," she played minor and episodic roles in various TV shows such as "Drake & Josh," "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide," "The O.C.," and "How I Met Your Mother."

Following her appearances in two episodes of the popular Disney series "Wizards of Waverly Place," Lucy briefly dated actor David Henrie. In 2007, she starred in the series "Bionic Woman," a remake of the late 70s TV show, which unfortunately received a lukewarm response and was quickly canceled.

Lucy made her big-screen debut in 2008, appearing in the comedy film "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2." In the same year, she landed one of the main roles in the series "Privileged."
