Early Life and Career

Luise Wolfram, a German actress, was born on July 27, 1987, in Apolda, Germany. Her childhood and teenage years were spent in Jena, and her parents are fluent in Russian. At the age of seven, Wolfram made her acting debut in the film "Angelek." Before reaching adulthood, she appeared in several other television productions.

In 2006, Wolfram enrolled in the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin, where she studied from 2006 to 2010. After graduating from the academy, she joined the ensemble of the Schaubühne theater in Berlin. Alongside her theater work, Wolfram continued to appear in films, primarily in German television series.

"Matilda" and Russian Recognition

In 2014, Wolfram received an offer from Russian director Alexei Uchitel to portray Empress Alexandra Feodorovna in his upcoming film "Matilda." The film, which depicts the love affair between Tsar Nicholas II and ballerina Mathilde Kschessinska, became highly controversial in Russia.

Wolfram's performance in "Matilda," which premiered in 2017, garnered significant attention in Russia and brought her international recognition. Despite controversy surrounding the film's content, it was a critical and commercial success.
