Makhmud Shaymurdanivich Aminov: Railway Innovator and Hero of Socialist Labor
Makhmud Shaymurdanivich Aminov was a renowned railway worker, production innovator, and Hero of Socialist Labor who dedicated his life to the transportation of нефтепродуктов (petroleum products).
Early Life and Military Service
Aminov was born in 1925 and joined the Great Patriotic War in 1943 as a skilled and agile soldier. His abilities were recognized by the command, and he was appointed to a reconnaissance unit.
Railway Career
After returning to his hometown of Ufa in 1947, Aminov began working at the Ufa railway station. Two years later, he transferred to the Benzin station, where he became a master of пропарщик-промывщик цистерн (tank steamer-washer).
Technological Innovation
The manual and laborious nature of the proparschik's work inspired Aminov to seek ways to improve efficiency and productivity. Through years of observation and study, he developed a revolutionary method that drastically reduced the time required to prepare cisterns for filling.
Implementation of the "Aminov Method"
Aminov unveiled his completed invention in the mid-1950s. The "Aminov method" revolutionized the preparation process, allowing multiple times the number of cisterns to be filled in the same time frame. It was first adopted by Aminov's own team, which quickly became one of the top performers.
Impact on the Rail Industry
The successful implementation of the "Aminov method" at the Benzin station led to its adoption across the railway network. This significantly increased the volume of нефтепродуктов transported by rail.
Later Career and Legacy
Aminov continued to contribute to the industry as a shift supervisor until his retirement in 1980. He passed away in 1996 and was honored in the "Book of Remembrance" for exceptional railway workers.
