Early Life and EducationManana Kobakhidze was born in Georgia and holds degrees in history (1990) from Tbilisi State University and law (1998-2003).
Professional Career
Before entering politics, Kobakhidze worked as a journalist (1990-1991) and a teacher (1991-2001). She also served as a specialist in the Department of Education (1995-1996) and founded the organization "Lawyers for Profession."
Political Leadership
Kobakhidze entered politics in 2012 as the leader of the Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia party. She has held this position since April 21, 2012, and is currently serving as Vice Speaker of the Georgian Parliament.
Other Involvement
Kobakhidze is also a member of the Board of the Georgian Bar Association. She is an active advocate for the legal profession and has worked to promote its standards.
