Early Career
Mark Bomerback, a Canadian ice hockey winger, began his professional career in 2007 with the Idaho Steelheads of the East Coast Hockey League. He spent the following two seasons in North America's minor leagues before signing with HC Plzeň of the Czech Extraliga in 2009.
Success in the Czech Republic
In his first season with Plzeň, Bomerback made an immediate impact, scoring 46 points (20 goals and 26 assists) in 53 games and earning the title of Best Rookie of the Season. His impressive performances caught the attention of Russian club Metallurg Novokuznetsk, who signed him to a one-year contract in 2010.
Russian Adventure
In the 2010/11 season, Bomerback played 54 games for Metallurg Novokuznetsk, scoring 26 points (13 goals and 13 assists). Despite his successful campaign in Russia, he opted to move to Finland for the following season.
Finnish Journey
In 2011, Bomerback joined Lukko of the Finnish Liiga for a one-year stint. He has since continued to play in North America, currently suiting up for the Innisfail Eagles.
