Biography of Martin Jakš
Martin Jakš is a Czech skier who has achieved success in both long-distance and sprint events. He made his debut in the World Cup in 2005 and secured his only victory in December 2007 in a relay race. In addition to his victory, Jakš has also achieved podium finishes in relay races and individual competitions.
At the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, Jakš won a bronze medal in the relay event. In other races, he achieved 29th place in the 15 km freestyle and 27th place in the 15+15 km duathlon. He has also competed in two World Championships, with his best result being 11th place in the relay. In individual races, Jakš has not placed higher than 22nd.
