Roman Koudelka, a renowned Czech ski jumper, was born on May 9, 1989, in Jablonec nad Nisou, Czechoslovakia. He embarked on his ski jumping journey at a young age, showcasing exceptional talent that would pave the way for his illustrious career.

Koudelka made his World Cup debut in 2006, and in February 2007, he achieved his first top-ten finish. Since then, he has amassed 22 top-ten placements in World Cup events, 12 in individual competitions and 10 as part of team efforts.

Koudelka represented the Czech Republic at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, competing in three disciplines. He finished 7th in the team competition, 12th in the normal hill individual event, and 23rd in the large hill individual event.
