Matt Czuchry is an American actor best known for his roles as Logan Huntzberger in the TV series "Gilmore Girls" and Cary Agos in the TV series "The Good Wife." He currently stars as Dr. Conrad Hawkins in the TV series "The Resident."

Early Life and Education
Matt Charles Czuchry was born on May 20, 1977, in Manchester, New Hampshire, and grew up in Johnson City, Tennessee. His father, Andrew Czuchry, is a professor at East Tennessee State University, and his mother, Sandra, is a homemaker. Matt has two brothers and a sister. He has Ukrainian roots from his father's side.

Matt graduated from Science Hill High School in 1995 and earned his Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science with honors from the College of Charleston in 1999. In 1998, he won a beauty pageant at his college and was crowned "Mr. College of Charleston." He recalls, "I went on stage, danced in my underwear, and said my favorite movie is 'Boogie Nights.' That won me the title."

Acting Career
Matt began studying acting during his college years. His professor encouraged him to switch his major to drama. He earned his first role in the TV series "Young Americans" and met Kate Bosworth on the set. They dated from 2000 to 2002.

He appeared in episodes of various TV series such as "Freaks and Geeks," "7th Heaven," "The Practice," "Veronica Mars," and "Friday Night Lights." After portraying Jamie Farrel in the series "Hack" and Darin Metcalfe in the series "Jake 2.0," Matt gained his breakthrough role as Logan Huntzberger in "Gilmore Girls" in 2004. Initially a recurring character in the fifth season, he became a regular cast member in the sixth season. From 2006 to 2009, he portrayed lawyer Cary Agos in the critically acclaimed drama series "The Good Wife." He also reprised his role as Huntzberger in the miniseries "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" in 2016.

Currently, Matt plays the character of Dr. Conrad Hawkins in the TV series "The Resident," which premiered on January 21, 2018.
