Maxim Zhavnerchik is a Belarusian football player, known for his career as a midfielder for the Minsk-based club "Dinamo" and the Belarusian national team. He began his professional career in 2003 with the Soligorsk club "Shakhtyor", where he played 22 matches for the reserve team.
In 2004, Zhavnerchik moved to the Borisov club "BATE" and played for them until the end of 2008. During this time, he became a three-time champion of Belarus, won the Belarusian Cup once, and reached the finals twice. He also participated in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League in the 2008/09 season.
On January 20, 2009, Zhavnerchik signed a four-year contract with the Russian club "Kuban". He made his debut for the first team on May 3, coming on as a substitute in an away match against "Khimki". Just 10 minutes after coming on the field, he scored his first goal for "Kuban". In that season, he played a total of 20 matches in the championship, scoring 1 goal. He also played 1 game in the Russian Cup and represented the club's youth team 5 times.
In the 2010 season, Zhavnerchik played 33 matches, scored 1 goal, and became the winner of the Russian First Division with his team. He also played 1 match in the national cup. On March 1, 2012, he extended his contract with "Kuban".
In January 2011, Zhavnerchik was called up by the head coach of the Belarusian national team, Bernd Stange, to participate in a training camp in Turkey and a friendly match against Kazakhstan on February 9. He made his debut for the national team on March 29, 2011, in a friendly match against Canada in Antalya, Turkey, which ended in a 0-1 defeat.
