Soviet Footballer and Russian Football Coach

Early Life and Career

Born and raised in the Soviet Union, the future football star began his playing career with Torpedo Lubertsi's boys' team, under the guidance of coach V.I. Khazov. In 1977, he joined the Sdyushor Dynamo youth academy, where he trained under Vladimir Nikolaevich Smirnov.

Professional Career

Making his debut for FC Dynamo Moscow in 1983, the young player participated in over 100 league matches, eight Soviet Cup matches, and eight European club tournaments. During his tenure with Dynamo, he scored a single goal.

International and Club Successes

Beyond his club career, the player represented the Moscow Youth Team (1977-1978). He also played for Dynamo Minsk (1990-91), Dynamo-Gazovik Tyumen (1993-1994), Spartak Shchelkovo (1996), and Belgian club Racing White Daring Molenbeek (1992-1993).

Coaching Career

Education and Certifications

The former player earned a higher education in physical culture from the Moscow Regional State Institute of Physical Culture in 1984. He later obtained a coaching degree from the Higher School of Coaches at the Russian State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports in 1995. In 2005, he received his FIFA coaching license category "A."

Leadership Roles

Since 2007, he has headed the Reserves Preparation Department at FC Dynamo. In 2008, he became the director of the Lev Ivanovich Yashin Football Player Training Center. Previously, he coached Dynamo-Dubl Moscow (2001) and led the 1986 youth team to the Moscow Championship victory in 2001. Dynamo's reserve team won the Russian Championship gold medals in 2002 and 2003 under his leadership.
