Michael Redd, also known as "Silky," is a professional basketball player currently playing in the NBA for the Milwaukee Bucks. He was born on August 24, 1979, in Columbus, Ohio.
Early Life and Education
Redd attended high school in Columbus before enrolling at Ohio State University. Standing at 6'6" (198 cm) and weighing 215 lbs (97 kg), Redd was one of the leading players at the university, playing as a shooting guard. During his sophomore year, he led his team to the NCAA championship finals.
Professional Career
In 2000, Redd received an offer from the Milwaukee Bucks to play for their team. Initially, he struggled to find his place in the team, as it already had established stars like Ray Allen and Glenn Robinson. However, with the guidance of coach George Karl, Redd was able to showcase his skills and contribute to the team's success.
One of Redd's memorable games was against the Houston Rockets.
