Biography of Miki Roque

Miki Roque was a Spanish football player who played as a defender. He was known for his ability to deliver accurate long passes and his excellent positioning on the field.

Roque was signed from the Spanish Second Division team "Lleida" in the summer of 2005. He made appearances as a substitute in both matches of the 2006 Youth Cup Final against "Manchester City". His debut for the first team of "Liverpool" took place on December 5, 2006, when he came on as a substitute in the final minutes of the match against "Galatasaray" in the group stage of the Champions League.

During the second half of the season, Roque went on loan to "Oldham Athletic", and the following season he played for the Spanish team "Xerez". He then spent another season on loan at "Cartagena". From 2009, he played for "Real Betis", mostly for the club's reserve team.

On March 5, 2011, Roque was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in his pelvis. He underwent surgery the next day. On June 24, 2012, at the age of 23, he passed away from cancer of the hip joint.

Roque was a winner of the Youth Cup in England in 2006. He also won Segunda B with the team "Cartagena" in the 2008/09 season and Segunda with "Real Betis" in the 2010/11 season.
