Biography of Natalia Moseychuk
Natalia Moseychuk is a Ukrainian TV presenter, journalist, and host of TSN on the 1+1 channel. She was born on May 30, 1973, in Tedzhen, Turkmen SSR. Her father was a military officer, and her mother was an educator. Moseychuk completed her secondary education in Berdychiv, Zhytomyr Oblast in 1990. She then graduated from the Foreign Languages Faculty of Zhytomyr Pedagogical University in 1995.
Career
In 1993, Natalia Moseychuk started working as a journalist and presenter at the Zhytomyr regional television. From 1997, she became the host of the information and entertainment program "Morning Review" on the "Inter" channel. In 1998, she started hosting the news on the "YUTAR" channel, and in 1999, she became the news presenter for the "Express-Inform" TV company. Since 2003, she has been leading the news service of the "5th Channel" and is the author and presenter of the program "VIP Woman". In August 2006, she became the host of the Television News Service (TSN) on the "1+1" channel. She was also the author and presenter of the project "Hidden Life" about the public and private lives of famous politicians. Natalia Moseychuk co-hosts the main episodes of TSN together with Lidia Taran.
Transition to 1+1
Commenting on Moseychuk's transition to 1+1, the general producer of the "5th Channel," Yuriy Stets, said: "I know for sure that it is not about wanting to earn more or leave the "5th Channel". She had a dream to work on 1+1, and in my opinion, this is the reason we should look for."
Meanwhile, the presenter herself stated in an interview with the "Lviv Portal" that the reason for her move was the dismissal of several significant figures from the channel, including Roman Skyrypin, who she referred to as a "teacher and friend." She also expressed the opinion that by that time, the "channel of honest news" had noticeably changed: "These were not the same news that we made in 2004...".
According to the ranking by the "Focus" magazine, Natalia Moseychuk is among the top 20 most successful TV presenters in Ukraine.
Achievements
She has been awarded the distinction sign of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and named the journalist of the year in the field of electronic media (Man of the Year 2009 award).
Personal Life
Natalia Moseychuk is married and has two sons - Anton (born in 1998) and Matvey (born in 2012).
