Early Life and Career

Nicole was born in Palos Verdes, California to parents who were actors that met on the set of the TV series 'Bonanza'. She grew up with her younger sister Kristi and younger brother. It was her brother who gave her the nickname Coco as he struggled to pronounce her name, calling her "Kol-Kol" or even "Co-Co". The nickname stuck within her family and eventually spread to the world of show business.

When Nicole was 10 years old, her family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was a tomboy growing up, loving to play soccer and ride horses. At the age of 6, Coco started dancing, initially focusing on ballet, tap, and jazz. Her mother introduced her to the stage at a young age, and Nicole actively performed in productions at the Albuquerque Alt Theater.

Later, Coco became interested in the modeling industry and started participating in various competitions. At the age of 14, she won a scholarship worth $20,000 to attend a modeling school, offered by the Beverly Hills Studio. Interestingly, her classmates at the time included Jessica Alba and Hilary Swank.

Rise to Fame

At the age of 18, Coco began working primarily in swimwear and lingerie fashion shows. She continued to actively participate in competitions and appeared in calendars, catalogs, and videos. At 18, Nicole won the Miss Ujena pageant in Mexico.

In 2001, Coco joined Playboy and spent six months participating in various events and parties held at the Playboy Mansion. She also ventured into acting, mostly in low-budget films categorized as 'R' rated, such as 'Southwest Babes', 'Desert Rose', and 'The Dirty Monks'.
